About Me

Hello and welcome! My name is TaylorIMG_4719 and I’m an aspiring poet, nature enthusiast, lover of tea and homemade treats, and amateur yoga devotee. I went to a Waldorf School from K-12 and am now a recent graduate of Kenyon College – a small liberal arts school in the Ohio countryside – where I studied English and poetry writing. After graduating from Kenyon this spring, I moved back to my hometown Denver, Colorado, and am embarking on new adventures.

I’m blogging to share my thoughts and ideas about tradition, celebration, rhythm, and moments of gratitude throughout the year, especially for young adults in their 20s and 30s. Growing up as secular and non-religious, my parents and I nevertheless celebrated festivals and holidays all year round, typically embracing a more naturalistic approach that highlighted the cycles of the year. Now, as I find myself on the verge of creating my own traditions and yearly cycles, I feel that it’s important to return to many of the celebrations that I observed both with my parents and through the Waldorf school. I think it’s meaningful to celebrate the ebb and flow of the seasons, as it marks the progress of each year and emphasizes the special moments each season holds. This is a space to share, muse, meditate, and work on creative endeavors, noticing the small joys that each day offers.

Thank you for visiting!

  2. Thank you so much for reading 🙂 Perhaps later this year once I’m back in Denver we will be able to celebrate together! (I’m already planning some ideas for midsummer).
    Sending my love,
